At FastHouse we offer three varying offsite timber frame panel systems: The Closed Panel System, Hybrid Panel System and Open Panel System. So, we have something appropriate for every requirement, build and budget.

Following precisely engineered plans, our automated machines manufacture a high quality, reliable product that is easy to install on-site and is guaranteed to fit first time.

Technical

With our in-factory processes, FastHouse can ensure all safety, thermal and acoustic building requirements are met, if not exceeded.

Site Coordinator – Timberframe Construction

FastHouse is a leading manufacturer or Timber Frame housing across the Island of Ireland.  As a result of continued success and growth, we are seeking to recruit a Site Coordinator to work across various sites in the Leinster and North Dublin areas.  Working closely with the Construction Manager and Contracts Supervisor you will be responsible on site for our projects from start to finish and ensure they are completed safely.

To succeed you will have a good understanding of construction, including quality control procedures, health and safety requirements on construction sites and be sufficient in your IT skills.

It is an autonomous role, but you will work closely and have full support from the Construction Manager, Contracts Supervisor and other Site Coordinators and will be given the opportunity to develop your experience in a one of the fastest growing industries.  Extensive travel across all sites will be required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of work are maintained throughout the Timber frame installation process.
  • Accurately record and report any site issues that may arise as part of the overall quality control and certification process.
  • Ensure any variations or day works are carried out in accordance with procedures.
  • To attend sites prior to works starting to ensure areas are ready and issue relevant paperwork/instructions.
  • Attend pre-start/order meetings with the FastHouse team on all projects
  • Attend sites during and post project duration to sign off works where required and issue/complete any other relevant paperwork.
  • Work with Site Manager, coordinating all subcontractors and trades connected to FastHouse.
  • Act as a constant point of contact between the site, design and manufacturing team, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with relevant building regulations and that sign of documentation is completed and properly maintained.
  • Create realistic schedules and plans for individual sites to be shared with the design and production team.
  • Maintain detailed site diaries and photographic reports supporting sign off documentation.
  • Maintain detailed site records of meetings, correspondence with the site team and client.
  • Ensure good relationships are maintained between the site team, clients and other third parties on site.
  • To arrange for handover meetings with Site Manager/Site Supervisor where required.
  • To be familiar with and fully comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and guidelines.
  • Actively promote and prioritise a safe working environment across all projects ensuring everyone on site is adhering to company procedures.
  • Ensure that appropriate policies, procedures, staff and processes are in place.
  • Attend meetings and make sure all procedures and deadlines are adhered to.

The Person

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Good judgment and demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.
  • Comfortable in an environment that is dynamic and changeable.
  • Proficient in IT, software packages and systems.
  • It would be advantageous if you held a CSCS Card, CSR/Safe Pass and First aid & Health and safety.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to urgent tasks within time frame and budget.
  • Experience working as site supervisor, trainee site manager or assistant site manager is desirable as is confidence in your ability to deal with clients and suppliers to build trusted relationships.
  • Timber frame experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Construction knowledge, ideally coming from a trades background looking to progress career.
  • A full clean driver’s licence as company vehicle provided.
