Production Operative

If you like the thought of a 3 Day weekend, the General Operative role at FastHouse is the role for you. Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will be working on an assembly line in a manufacturing environment programming and operating machine and hand tools.
The Role
- Operate equipment and automated machinery utilised in various production activities.
- Reading and adhering to production drawings and specifications.
- Utilising hand and power tools
- Maintaining documentation used in the measure of quality and efficiency at each stage of production.
- Contribute to meeting objectives and targets on safety, quality, production and efficiency.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring the controlled movement of materials, equipment and components.
- Contribute to developing our culture of continuous improvement through teamwork and collaboration.
About you
Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is desirable along with the ability to interpret production drawings and specifications. A Forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential.
